Happy New Year

Published by on January 2nd, 2012

The New Year is finally upon us and after a long 2011 with a catalog of issues we are looking forward to making a mends for the disaster that was 2011.

We are currently putting together a schedule and a format for 2012 which we hope to have finalized in the next couple of weeks. As announced in October 2011 this schedule will be for existing customers only we will not be open for new customers now until 2013.

Due to the issues we faced in mid 2011 we had to scale down our operations on both workshop side and customer service side which has caused great frustration. This unfortunately was unavoidable but we hope to have a customer service team back online by February to assist in booking/rebooking cancelled events from last year.

In terms of equipment we had a number of reliability issues last year and also we did not have certain fail safes on the cars to prevent students from over revving engines. New equipment and new maintenance programs will be introduced this year to prevent a recurrence.

In regards to refunds, we are still working diligently to ensure all requested refunds are dealt with as soon as possible. Please be advised that our terms and conditions and refund policy is still current.

2011 Schedule Postponed until 2012 – READ IMPORTANT – **Updated**

Published by on September 6th, 2011

As many of you already know, beastockcardriver.com has experienced a number of issues during the past few months which has culminated in the 2011 schedule being postponed until 2012 while all issues are addressed. The management of BASCD take full responsibility for allowing these problems to occur and having a negative effect on the company and the customer’s experience with us.

With years of racing in our blood we are passionate about turning around BASCD and giving you the customers the experience that many of you have dreamed about for a long time. This is still our number 1 priority.

For those of you who were got to drive at Hickory in Round 1 sampled a second to none experience. Unfortunately for many reasons some of which out of our control we failed to deliver the high level of professionalism and a second to none driving experience at Bristol and Lanier all of which has had a severe knock on effect resulting in the postponing of our 2011 Schedule until 2012..

Below is some extremely important information for our customers.

Customer Service

Many of you would have noticed that our Customer Service support is virtually none existent after at one point being a 6 member team. Due to the unfortunate situation that BASCD is in all of our Customer Support staff have been laid off until further notice. This has effectively closed our office phone support. We still have very limited email support but we hope to be back up to full speed again by the end of the year. Any customer service requests can be made via the Contact page.

2012 Schedule & Format

BASCD will be back on track in 2012 but will only be open to existing customers who through no fault of their own were unable to experience driving our race cars. BASCD will be open to new customers in 2013. Our 2012 schedule will be online in December and we will start taking bookings in December. We will continue to run the Rookie, Hot Laps, Compete and Ultimate Experiences in 2012.

Terms and Conditions at time of Purchase.

During this current situation BASCD’s Terms and Condition’s  are still in effect for all customers.

Refunds

Due to the current situation many of you have requested refunds. Many of you have already received them and many are still waiting. Rest assured we are dealing with this and each and every refund request will be dealt with. With over 4,000 customers please understand this is not a quick process and is being dealt with as quickly as possible. Below is some further information and some instructions on how to speed up your refunds.

Daily Deal Site Customers

If you purchased through one of our excellent daily deal partners please refer to their refund policy as it may differ from ours.  Despite what your coupon expiration may be, legally they do not expire for 5 years as all non-food coupons must be redeemable for a total of 5 years. In 2012 We will honor any BASCD coupons you have despite what the expiration date maybe.

Merchant Services I.e Paypal, Google Checkout, Amazon Payments

If you purchased via beastockcardriver.com using one of our preferred credit card processors you must contact your credit card company to initiate a charge back due to the credit card processors only having a 60 day window for refunds; after that we cannot issue a refund through them. The credit card processor will then contact us regarding the charge back and we will deal with them directly.

Check Payments

For the small number of you who paid via check or money order, these refunds are being handled in house and will be processed and refunded during the month of September if you have requested a refund.

Gift Certificates

If you were given a Gift Certificate from BASCD we will honor that Gift Certificate in 2012 onward for a maximum of 5 years unless the purchaser has received a refund for the Gift Certificate. We will not exchange Gift Certificates for cash as per our Order Terms and Conditions.

During this current situation BASCD’s Terms and Condition’s  are still in effect for all customers.

Updates

The management of BASCD will keep you updated via BASCD.com of any developments during the coming months. We thank you for your patience during this time and will bring you the experience you deserve in 2012.

Memorable Day on Memorial Day at Hickory

Published by on September 6th, 2011

Round 1 Kicked off On Memorial Day at Hickory Motor Speedway. It was hot and so was the Competition.

Newton, North Carolina was the setting for Day 1 of the Compete Round 1 Experience at the historic Hickory Motor Speedway. Sixty drivers over two days gained expert race instruction from our team of professional race car drivers and battled it out for a place in Round 2.

The standard of driving in Round 1 was excellent with drivers, young and old, impressing the instructors with their car control skills, communication skills and overall improvement over the event. The standards shown in Round 1 at Hickory definately set the bar high as we approach our Lanier National Speedway Round 1 events, where a staggering 400 drivers will compete for their place in Round 2 to be held later this year.
